“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.” Proverbs 3:27. The AJ SDA church is very active in serving God’s children. We encourage everyone to give back, pull others up, lend a helping hand, and provide unselfish service in the spirit of Christ.

Give Blood: The American Red Cross reminds us that it’s critically important to maintain a stable blood supply to support those with chronic illnesses and other blood needs. Donors are urged to make an appointment by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
Genesis Project: Thank you for your continuous support and donations to this worthy organization in Apache Junction. Their volunteer-driven mission is to meet the basic needs of the hungry, homeless, and vulnerable people in our community while offering a clear path to self-sufficiency through hand-ups rather than hand-outs!
Eyeglasses for the Needy: This is a year-round ministry. Drop off your used prescription eyeglasses in the plastic bin with the blue top in the church lobby. Eyeglasses collected help improve the sight and quality of life for children and adults living in low-and middle-income communities around the world.
Mats, Blankets, Socks & More! Thank you to all those who make awesome mats for the homeless or supplied blankets & socks this winter. These items go directly to those living on the street to bring a bit of comfort and cheer.
Feed My Starving Children: Jesus Christ has called us to feed the hungry and serve those in need. We support this Christian ministry each year by volunteering at the Tempe facility. This org distributes all-vegetarian MannaPak meals to schools, orphanages, clinics and feeding programs around the world to quickly reverse and prevent malnutrition.
Superstition Food Bank: We joyfully support this nonprofit 501(c)3 organization each summer with our own water bottle drive where cases and cases of water are donated! We have also collected food items for the holiday season.
We have many projects during the year, so please pray for our ministry, the people served, and others who need to be reached. If you have questions or suggestions, email us at ajcommunityservices@gmail.com.
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:37-40
